The Back 2 School Festival is more than a backkpack giveaway.
It’s a high-energy, citywide celebration of education, culture, and community.
The Year, hosted at Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza, this free, ticketed event will serve ~1,500 students and families with fully loaded backpacks, free food, youth performances, interactive activities, and access to vital resources.

Now Accepting Vendor Applications for Back 2 School Festival 2025
We’re opening a very limited number of vendor slots for this year’s Back 2 School Festival. If your organization offers a high-impact, community-focused activation, we want to hear from you.
Booth Fee: $500 (includes 1 table + 2 chairs)
COI Required: Must meet IBTU + venue requirements
Selection Criteria: Alignment, impact, and proposed activation
