The Back 2 School Festival is more than a backkpack giveaway.
It’s a high-energy, citywide celebration of education, culture, and community.
The Venice Beach – Backpacks & Coastal Care Day is a unique Back-to-school experience that blends education, environmental action, and community joy — all in a high-impact, beachside setting. This free event will serve over 1,500 students and families with fully stocked backpacks, youth-led performances, free food, cultural programming, and essential health and wellness resources.
In addition to The Back 2 School initiative, we will have a designated fire-relief section where those affected can get specific resources, join our case management program, and connect with other fire relief organizations.

Now Accepting Vendor Applications for Back 2 School Festival 2025
We’re opening a very limited number of vendor slots for this year’s Back 2 School Festival. If your organization offers a high-impact, community-focused activation, we want to hear from you.
Booth Fee: $500 (includes 1 table + 2 chairs)
COI Required: Must meet IBTU + venue requirements
Selection Criteria: Alignment, impact, and proposed activation
